Nice try from Ireland. Scotland just can't deal with them in the midfield.

The irony is, Ireland can the game well at pace, yet are awful time wasters.

Lovely line from Aki, Jordie would have trucked it straight into contact rather than found that shoulder

Lovely try to Ireland ... really its based off excellent game management too - I am convinced managing the stoppages is part of their game plan

It definitely happens, but nothing wrong with that try

The way they compress the defence makes me worried about Telea or Clarke biting in and Barrett or Ioane missing a first up tackle. That's all they'd need and our players will likely give them at least one or two of those.

None of their passes look 50/50 even though they are passing in contact

Agree however teams have been doing it for years, we just need to look at Ireland and think how can we do it better. Or find a way to defuse it.

Look how long it took to form that lineout, they in complete control, they have a plan from set piece, give yourself a short rest then implement the plan. Ireland basically dictate the pace, where the game is played and always on their terms.

I don't see how any team is going to stop Ireland from romping to the title.

AS much as I think we will struggle against Ireland - mainly with structure and discipline - I believe our defense has a lot more starch than the Scots are showing ....
Unfortunately - I sincerely believe a massive factor on the outcome of the IRE V AB quarter final will be the appointment of the officials ..... if they are permitted to slow the game to this sort of degree then the ABs simply don't have the game plan to compete

Agree - unbackable favourites, should be $1.05 at the TAB
