With Jesus playing, 70+ only scoreline that could possibly happen

I hear he’s bulked up to 130kg at about 5% body fat while he’s been on the sidelines.
-
I think starting players that might be sore and get benefit from a break, will get a rest ,
but otherwise we might see a fairly strong side , can see the benefit of giving guys maximum minutes who they plan to use from the bench.
-
Personally I would go for basically same team as last time with a few changes. Perhaps ArdieNuggett and Papali'i can have a break, drop Blackadder on bench?

yes but 20kg of magic fairy dust and Crusading hype cream isn't what we need. Speed, accuracy, and dominance would be nice.
-
I mean...we could lose. Another Foster first.

He did say from the start that he was going to be his own man. Not that we realized then exactly what that meant...

@pakman isn't De Groot still suspended for this one? Agree mostly otherwise although I would love Newell and Williams on the bench. Understand though they're relatively green compared to Nepo and Ofa.
On that basis I’d be tempted to start Williams and leave Ofa and Nepo combo intact. For quarters those two and Big Sam coming on with Scooter to 6 and you’ve got your own bomb squad.

@pakman said in RWC Week 5: All Blacks v Uruguay:
@pakman Irish are vulnerable at TH because they have to play Furlong deep into game and by 55 he’ll be pretty knackered.

Just discovered / realised this is FRIDAY morning.
5am start so done before work, but yeah.
Shit time for NZ based watching.

Thursday morning Niue, going diving in the afternoon, so can't even have holiday morning beersies

8 in the evening. Clearing out some more scrub & a bonfire during the day. Bath, then beer and Rugby. What more can one ask for?

If you Queenslanders got yourselves some daylight savings, it’d be a leisurely 6am kick off like it is for us 🤷🏻♂️

But then work would interfere.
And you call yourself a Victorian? Only Queenslanders call it Daylight Savings

Either you have a vagina or you're going on a road trip

Hmm. A few too many changes for me.

The picture alone should be enough to make a few ferners all hot and bothered
-
Resting the three forwards who have started every game, and Retallick.
-
As long as they get the job (win + BP) done, I don't really care who plays this week.

Lol. That team will rack up a huge score again
-
Bloody called it, mass change, fozzie thinks first string combos are all sorted and so given then a rest and give the rest a run
Is that 7 changes to the starting xv?

They're not playing SA again until the Final
-
Is BBBR injured? He had an ice pack on his leg after the last game.
-
@Bovidae said in RWC Week 5: All Blacks v Uruguay:
With no midfield cover on the bench, will Jordie and ALB play 80 minutes, or will they take ALB off and move Fainga'anuku to 13, when Clarke comes on?
Also wondering what will happen when BB comes on. Will Richie or Dmac be subbed; if Richie, I assume Dmac will move to 10?
It will also be interesting who goes off when Blackadder comes on. I assume Cane, because he hardly plays 80 minutes anymore?
-
I'm assuming LF moves to 13, but ALB may take over 12. In this sort of game, it probably does not matter where EB takes over (6 or 7 I assume). It's interesting that Roigard starts.

Pretty logical selection.
Rest Reiko and some tired forwards, gets Sam & SF up to speed, more game-time for Roigard with RMo and see how DMac goes a-playmaking with RMo. Lack of midfield cover interesting though.

@Bovidae so the probable starting 15 would have played together once in 6 weeks going into a QF against a team we need aoad of luck and cohesion to beat? FML.

So who leads the haka? Codie?
