SA marginally better but too rushed in the red zone. Tha SA defence is brutal and Ireland struggling to break it down. But the Irish pack outside of the set piece is going very well. This game wouldn’t disgrace a final. NZ & France are going to have their work cut out.

Yep I was thinking there is a high chance this will be the final.

Impeccable. That’s the type of display that’ll get rewarded.

@Billy-Tell Ireland will have to lift again to play Scotland next. It will be v impressive if they can sustain this level into the QF

He is very clear and consistent which is all you want for a ref really. Both teams now know exactly how he does the breakdown and scrums etc.

    Great game so far.

Well officiated apart from the excessive (IMO) stoppages. BOK doing well.

Feel that there are a lot of Irish bodies going off their feet at ruck time - more so than the Boks... but not getting called. That said both loose trios are going very well - and challenging possessions with good decisions of when to try it...

Some great hits out there and it will be interesting to see the last 20mins and the toll it takes on the forwards ....

Yeah he’s been good. Only quibble is I’d like him to hurry up Ireland more. They are the worst time wasters.

Yeah they have 5 tough games in a row to win. This is the best Irish side I’ve ever seen. So well coached.

One penalty vs SA for early hit I think. But yep scrums going well so far.

Combined penalty count of both teams would be exceeded by us in 40mins 😉

I’m curious how Ireland consistently have one of the lowest penalty counts each game. If they can do it why can’t we.
