Guys I'm really worried about the future FIL. Haven't heard from him since the black caps last lost and England played cricket today.

Might send him a picture of my best mate on the piss with Chris Martin last night to cheer him up.

We play Afghanistan next. Not sure if this result is good, to help ward off complacency or bad as it will have them full of confidence and self belief.

We've been applying ourselves pretty well this tournament so I think this probably makes the game a bit harder.

The Masters of the Colonies could really have had a night of it if they'd lost to Fiji! 🙂

Not a real world cup without a good upset. Glad we're not on the receiving end of it (yet).

Everyone has played three games now, and us and India are the only unbeaten sides left. We play Afghanistan tonight, should be another win but we need to be wary of both their top order and their spinners.

It looks like theres a split with the teams, 4 are likely to be bottom (even allowing for the odd upset) SL, Ban, Neth and Afg.
That leaves the other 6 teams fighting for 4 spots which makes these upsets so important. England and now SA losing to teams they should have beaten gives the likes of us a bigger break

Also its misleading to see OZ as off the pace, they started with a much tougher draw then us.
After tonights game it gets real for us and we can easily end up outside the top 4.

As bad as England are, the organising of this tournament is a disgrace. Heard on Wisden Cricket Pod that England vs India is in 12 days and it is STILL not possible to buy a ticket! Official website says ‘they’re coming soon’. No wonder there are no travelling fans (and almost no fans at other games not involving India)

No opening ceremony before the first game of the tournament, but one before the India vs Pakistan game that they realise they don’t have the song rights to broadcast so only show it for the fans in the stadium. Joke

Cricket will not miss David Warner, at all. And if he gets a commentary gig, it will result in me switching the channel i watch (fuck i hope he ends up on Fox Sports and not Ch7). It's bad enough i have to hear from his vapid wife.

Look at his latest "outburst". Gets given out on an LBW, reviews, and stays out because it's clipping the wickets. Not the one you should be kicking off over David, that's hardly a howler. This whole 12-month retirement party you've planned for yourself isn't going well is it?

His big idea is umpire stats being shown on the screen. I'm battling to follow his point actually, but i guess he wants the public to know who has given him out the most? I dunno, it's a barely coherent point.

    In short, fuck off David.

Least with how shit his form is we wont have to watch him jumping up waving his bat like hes just scored the winning runs in a WC Final every time he scores a 100.

I'm not saying it was a bad review, the fact it was back to umpire's call means it was 1cm from being a good review.

but the bitching and moaning about a ball that would have hit the stumps just screams of a bloke under pressure
