Ta$man also seem to chop and change their line-up every game.

Some excellent link play from the Turbos, great to see forwards running at gaps

    @Chris said in Ta$man v Manawatu:

Interesting to see Shun Miyake getting a start
He has been a stand out in CHCh club rugby for last couple of years .

Looks a much better option than O'Malley

@Steven-Harris They should really get a different commentator to do Ta$man games

@KiwiMurph Yeah, just as annoying as Laban and Wellington games.

@KiwiMurph its quite funny , i use to think the criticism of TJ was a bit over the top but now hes like Tasmans personal cheerleader.

@Steven-Harris I think the criticism is over the top when he commentates non- Ta$man & non-Crusaders games.

Gotta say Brayden Iose has been very quiet , getting totally outplayed by Blackadder and as well as Hotham has gone, i dont think Jordi Viljoen has lost anthing to Hotham for me has a better pass both ways and really good game sence

@Steven-Harris I've been watching Blackadder closely, because if an ABs loosie goes down, he'll be someone they'll be looking at. He's been outstanding. Very hungry.

Ethan Blackadder looks like he's enjoying his afternoon out. One of those guys who just plays at 100% without regard for his body.

Mako starting to find a bit of continuity. Manawatu struggling a bit with the sun and look like storm-week might be catching up with them, but I think we might have over-used the box kick.

Hopefully, we don't let them back in the game and this game really clicks some accuracy into place that we can carry for the rest of the season.

@Stargazer physical as well why i’m a bit disappointed with Iose
Really need someone to look after Blackadder in the physical stakes.
Your right though , he would be first of the rack if theres an injury in france

@Steven-Harris I've never found Iose the physical type loosie; he's fast and has skills, but not the one you rely on for a physical game.

@Stargazer thats a fair point , the boy Tyler Laubscher seems to have that physicality but injury has curtailed his career , TK Howden put in a massive shift against Auckland looks shot.
On saying that the Turbos are not helping themselves , could get messy after the celebrations of midweek.
