    Gotta say Brayden Iose has been very quiet , getting totally outplayed by Blackadder and as well as Hotham has gone, i dont think Jordi Viljoen has lost anthing to Hotham for me has a better pass both ways and really good game sence

    @Steven-Harris I've been watching Blackadder closely, because if an ABs loosie goes down, he'll be someone they'll be looking at. He's been outstanding. Very hungry.

    Ethan Blackadder looks like he's enjoying his afternoon out. One of those guys who just plays at 100% without regard for his body.

    Mako starting to find a bit of continuity. Manawatu struggling a bit with the sun and look like storm-week might be catching up with them, but I think we might have over-used the box kick.

    Hopefully, we don't let them back in the game and this game really clicks some accuracy into place that we can carry for the rest of the season.

    @Stargazer physical as well why i’m a bit disappointed with Iose
    Really need someone to look after Blackadder in the physical stakes.
    Your right though , he would be first of the rack if theres an injury in france

    @Steven-Harris I've never found Iose the physical type loosie; he's fast and has skills, but not the one you rely on for a physical game.

    @Stargazer thats a fair point , the boy Tyler Laubscher seems to have that physicality but injury has curtailed his career , TK Howden put in a massive shift against Auckland looks shot.
    On saying that the Turbos are not helping themselves , could get messy after the celebrations of midweek.

    This is getting really ugly for the Turbos.

    Blackadder has played 52 minutes without holding back. He looked like he could have gone the full 80.

    It's not helping the Turbos that both their hookers are now injured and that their prop has to throw the ball in the line-out.

    Mako looked a bit ragged once most of our big guns came off.

    Depth being tested in some areas - and a bit wanting.

    @Canes4life Bit hard to pick him when he gets injured every 2 seconds.

    I'd have him starting 6 over whoever ABs roll out vs France but if he could stay fit I think ideally he's best suited as do it all loose forward bench cover.

    @African-Monkey
    In saying that Blackadder is fit playing well and Frizzell is busted.
