Just saw Handre Pollard, Lood de Jager and Lukhanyo Am were not named in the Bok World Cup squad.

These are bloody big losses, especially Pollard.
I am wondering if an "injury" might occur in the Bok camp to let him back in.

If we could place money on that happening, I would.

@Machpants Good point - but there's also no direct quotes that indicate Donaldson is looked at as a forward - but there are for Kemeny. This is the closest I could find from Eddie.

“(Ben) Donaldson trained all week at fullback and we know he can play ten well.”

The most bizarre selection is Skelton as captain. He's not an 80 min player, especially in a high tempo game.

Australian fans should be pissed and what they have been served up by head office this year.

what the fuck do i know? Apparently it's all good in the hood

if The Roar is to be believed, Eddie Jones is doing fucking amazing things for the Wallabies. Losing? often badly? bah that's old shit. Dropping two old guys means he's cutting the dead wood. Yeah, big revolution, cutting a guy that's hurt, and wasn't playing well before that. And cutting another guy that wasn't playing well either. The Eddielution is here! get on board.

You would have heard him called Leleiwasa more.

    Edit: or rather, Layylawaassa

    No. No I haven't.

Then you watched even less super rugby than I did.

    That's probably not Eddie's fault

Well now I'm convinced leaving out Hoops and Coops was an excellent call.

I set you up pretty nicely for that

I’m convinced Eddie wanted to set a record for heaviest ever captain at a WC so we’ll give him that.

@MN5 SBW is about as good at rugby analysis as Nisbo would be in a spot the difference between Savea and Finau.

He says “bro” “skux” and “uso” alot though. Nisbo could definitely take notes there.

    SBW analysis is:

    1. I'm mates with Quade
    2. Quade was dropped
    3. Therefore, Eddy has lost the plot

Seriously, if he's got Rugby reasons that are more than that I'd be astonished

Williams, a former All Black who was part of New Zealand’s 2011 and 2015 Rugby World Cup victories, claims Jones has made a huge mistake by leaving the experience and world-class abilities of Hooper and Cooper behind.

    personally I'd have taken Quade.

Hooper's a tougher one - injury and his head's not where it was. Warrior, but way less effective now

oh I'd agree. Not sure he is in peak Quade form and at world-class level, but he'd make a useful backup 10. Hooper doesn't seem in the right head space/nursing an injury, or both.
