touted as a potential AB when he switched to a NZ super rugby side

By some of the crappier media elements (Sky pundits, NZ Herald and Stuff writers). Defence has always been very poor, and he is really inconsistent even at NPC level.

    Who was he recruited by?

@sparky we got bored of winning.
Actually rugby has got boring. Used to watch and go to all the games. Last couple of years I just don’t care. Now we are terrible I have zero interest in any super rugby.
NRL is soo much more entertaining. The game on Friday night was the greatest atmosphere I’ve ever been a part of.
I’ve got mates who are lifelong rugby fanatics who don’t watch anymore. We used to all have season tickets. Now you can’t give away tickets. Rugby is in a sad state of affairs.

@chchfanatic lol outside Chch the Rugby has been brilliant to watch. Everyone I've spoken to have really enjoyed the games thus far, in fact many have compared the state of Super Rugby to the 'good old days'. This just seems like a sour post because your boys aren't winning, maybe watch a couple of games that don't involve the Crusaders and you might be pleasantly surprised by how much more skillful the teams have been compared to previous years.

I mean when a Fijian 'toe hacks' the ball to win a match in overtime that to me is sensational viewing.

But jog on with your fickle support, just don't come running back when the Crusaders start winning again.

    @chchfanatic Bandwagon 😉

You'll be back on here gloating in no time once your boys win their next title in true Cantab style 😉

@Canes4life Yeah, Super Rugby has been great this year and that's not because of the Crusaders indifferent form either. Most games have been great to watch especially the Drua, and I am also a big league fan.

People love to slag off union and talk up league because it's the cool thing to do these days. There's plenty of stinkers that go on in the NRL contest wise but you wouldn't hear about it with all the bandwagon league fans you have these days.

speak for yourself I guess, I'm finding this the most exciting season of Super Rugby in a long time, the Hurricanes returning to 2015-16 levels of class, Crusaders rock bottom of the table, Highlanders looking like heavyweights again, the Reds performing the best we've seen from them since 2012/2013, the Drua and Moana Pacifica appearing a lot better drilled/coached compared to previous seasons, I'm really enjoying the quality of the matches this season - especially after that absolutely turgid world cup (in terms of viewing experience) due to a pedantic amount of over-officiating.

Not sure telling supporters to jog on is the best thing for the game.

@Bones meh, I'm over people slagging off rugby. If you don't want to watch it, then jog on. I couldn't care less.

Just don't come on here and start bringing down what's a great spectacle atm. The rugby across the board has been positive. Negativity right now isn't what our game needs.

Well surprisingly I am hating watching the Crusaders and I could punch the TV shitless when watching them this season.
But I am enjoying watching the other games The Dura are great to watch, the Reds have improved a lot, The Canes are good to watch,Even enjoying watching the Blues and Chiefs and I feel dirty after saying that.

Really a lot of the games have been great to watch.
Now I sit and watch what happens to the crusaders and which direction they will go, a lot of talent in their u/20 squad, I would put some of them in the squad 2025 and build a new team,It might take a couple more years of pain but the up side could be a champion team once again. And to all the people wanking on about the crusaders season and revelling in it, swings and round abouts,I just smile sad wee people.

@African-Monkey certainly no bandwagon jumper. Day 1 warriors fan unfortunately.
Crusaders to finish 8th then win the final from there.
