am i missing something... "the very much inform DH at second v" ?
The commentators talk up everyone.
Aidan Morgan got called a 'great young 10' in the last game.
I hate that about commentators. A bit of honesty would be refreshing.
Yup its really noticeable with most of our commentators.... cheerleading more than analyzing

Finlay Brewis rule out again; Andrew Turner taking his spot on the bench.
A quick google tells me he's a prop out of the Bristol Bears' Academy. I think he's only played a few games for the senior side.
England u/20 player last season

I’d pull Gardiner for that, open wing would have been straight in. That’s a Reiko level of non passing.
Jeez, you'd have no one left on the field by half time if you were the coach and pulled players for that level of error.

Ahh fuck. The ball doesn't bounce for Jordan anymore.

I was just about to say the same thing. He's yesterdays man.

Not sure about Hotham's pace.
-
Saders are looking twitchy. Almost as though they are too eager to play well. I wonder if their disappointing season to date is catching up to them?
-
That fella Jordan looks alright
-
@Crazy-Horse I think you are reading too much into it. Force are often tricky.
-
Also shows how poor a lot of NZ Super Pacific backs are at choosing / reading and running good lines
-
that was a nicely taken try. Havili playing well (eating my hat from earlier)
-
WJ looks a bit rusty at times but his class is evident. Crusaders are a different beast with an attacking weapon at fullback.

10s who don't find touch from penalties.......should be made to run laps
I think that's one of the Fern things that is lagging behind the coaching.
You've got to penalty line-kick with ambition and if you miss occasionally, then suck it up. In particular, it's massively valuable if you can kick to give yourself a lineout 5 metres out. It's way better than conservatively making sure of a kick 15 metres out that gives you no opportunity to drive for a try from the subsequent lineout.
But even with others, you've got to show ambition rather than excessive safety.
That being said, I didn't really register the missed kick - I think it was the Force?

Force are being allowed to be offside a lot.... their defensive line is regularly not getting back onside..... but you play to the officials I guess
