Waratahs v Highlanders

Yuk. Subbing Smith really cost Highlanders. PPP is a contender for dumbest player in super rugby. Give a ref two chances to yellow card you with the game on the line... Real clever.
Waratahs made it hard for themselves. Thought they were in before the desperation tackle from Hunt saved it.
Great to have Nareki back. Feel sorry for Aaron Smith who kept the Highlanders in box seat while he was on.

Fuck a duck...
I'm going to a junket at the SFS in two weeks courtesy of my position on the Suburban Rugby Board. Food and drink laid on. Comfy seats and get to cheer the players as they run out of the tunnel.
I'm having second thoughts...
You don't like free food and drink? I thought you were a prop?

I guess I could leave after the food

As heart-breaking as that may be for Highlander supporters, that was an important win for the Tahs. Losing to what is easily the worst SR team in NZ this season would be a catastrophe in this competition.

This is up there with the end of Carisbrook era Highlanders, interms of being one of the worst squads put together. A rebuild will be a long process.

Parkinson gets an appointment with the judiciary. This was his third yellow card. He also got one in round 2 v Crusaders.
Yep serial offender

@SBW1 The Highlanders are still in finals contention. It's very congested on the table for the last 3 finals' spots. All of Waratahs, Reds, Highlanders, Force and Drua can still qualify. Basically, only Moana Pasifika has no hope of progressing to the finals.

Man that was a tough watch. The odd brilliant moment but both sides have real issues with executing a meaningful attack.
They defend their hearts out and both attack the ball when it hits the deck, but when they have the nut they look all at sea.
Tahs attacking clean out is very poor. Landers have no variation.

Bloody ordinary game I thought, not helped by by that idiot PPP making me look a fool again this year. I put my hand up and say I thought he was close to being on fringes of ABs before his injuries that took him out, but I now realise he just to dumb!! I have noticed in a few games he has been giving away incredibly stupid (in my opinion) penalties this year, and last night was same! He seems to of forgotten the idea of staying onside and more about what to do around rucks to stay legal!

@Stargazer You can add Hunt's missed touchfinders to that.
