Blues v Waratahs

@Tim some of the passing from the Blues for guys who are full time professionals is awful
The timing of the pass and accuracy especially -
CC looking better but still has issues staying on his feet in contact to allow his team to catch up or drive through the defenders
-
-
Christie so slow!!

@KiwiMurph but his distribution skills and kicking options are way better ,Plummer getting a free pass as someone who doesn’t quite cut it as a top level first five but all of sudden wants to be a 2nd five .
Former Harbour player Michael Little was a similar size to Corey Evans also with brilliant distribution and kicking skills ,another under utilised midfielder under Pat lams watch .
Seems to be a pattern at Blues HQ,pick someone but never play themSaying Evans kicking options are way better than Plummer is a real stretch. He has barely kicked when playing for Blues or Auckland.
I hear what you are saying re: distribution.
Definitely selection issues. Someone like Segner always picked yet Rush never plays.

Fucking stupid from Ofa
Well-reffed, I though. Not much else Ofa could do there.
He's not in control, reckless and lucky.
If the player stays upright, it is just a good tackle. It depends whether you think Ofa has time to change.
No he doesn't, because he's not in control. He didn't give himself time to change, that's exactly it.
What time is he supposed to give himself when in the space of one step the attacker dives to ground?
I find supporters way overestimate the ability of players to make decision about whether to pull-out from watching on TV.

Come on man, it's really simple. This day and age, you can't fly in uncontrolled hoping you get lucky with the hit. I don't have a problem with the outcome in this instance, but Ofa left himself no out if that went wrong.

@KiwiMurph very poor option taking, taking the ball flat footed too

He didn't give himself any option regardless of what the ball carrier did. This is the issue, you can't do that anymore.

"uncontrolled"? You are delusional if you think players can adapt within that timeframe other than by making completely passive tackles.

Not even looking like taking on the line. Stifles the attack.
