Five years ago that ball would've sat up for Barrett. Now it just turns to shit
He would have tackled Dmac five years ago. That is the difference - he is just a bit slower.
Yep, that's it in a nutshell. We are finding out what a slower BB is like as a player.

A lot slower, with awful decision making and a complete lack of awareness, to go with not being able to kick.
Yeah just a bit slower.

And his cross field kicks used to be so accurate, it was a revelation. But he's regressed so much in what made him good but hasn't moved in in more traditional ten areas. Look at DC, scored heaps of tries as a young un, but moved to more controlling as time went on

Weber has wheels
Not as much as Christie, had to turn and go further, still got in front
Nah, he was about level and the ball bounced into his line. As you already pointed out... don't listen to the commentators 😁

Rewatching the ST trip, he should have held his line and dipped into the contact. A change of direction was not needed. I don't think the covering Blue would have bundled him into touch.

@Crazy-Horse if that was Clarke I would've had kittens.

I laughed at the time and thought of Clarke

He's got to do it at least once for the next dozen games

Really important when an official recognises when a scrum is under pressure , was asking the Blues to use the ball when Chiefs front row was clearly popping
-
Apart from the missed tackle and try assist Stevenson has hardly been involved

Hope Fozzie is watching. Dmac the form 10.
