Heard ticket sales are not great only around 5k
That's absolutely horrendous if true.
Traditional rivals - good weather - mid-March (so not too early) - kids going free. Blues starting the season relatively well.
That should have alarm bells ringing at NZR (and RA).

remember that excludes season ticket holders, and walkup crowds (which Auckland is notorious for)
I suspect 15k sales on the night
-
@nzzp hoping so ,under 10 would be a disgrace

I'm down at the game there is a hell of a lot more than 5,000. Looks like a great turn out for a game this big.

Same
Not sure it's quite 15k, but it's a decent crowd

Sky saying 20k + crowd
That wouldn't surprise me given the ground. A good crowd can look sparse when spread out.
-
@KiwiMurph looks more like 10-12 gaps all around the stadium
-
Can a more knowledgeable rugby brain than mine see any pattern to the Blues attack so far? Looks like quick recycle and fling to me.
-
Blues scrum got owned
-
WTF was that Christie? Such an utter waste of advantage.
Followed by another brilliant (/s) Barrett kick.

Mounga rock solid on defence, shutting down two of the blues most dangerous runners.
Telea says what?
