Warner now has the lowest average of any opener to have batted at least 15 times in India

We have just seen an umpire review for a stumping where the Aussies also appeared to appeal for a caught behind which was turned down. Part of the review process was to look at the front view to see if there was an edge. In effect, the Aussies just got a free review for the edge. Unless there is something that has escaped me, I cannot see any reason why the front view is necessary for a stumping.

I agree that the front view is not required for a stumping.

I think it is one of those weird cricket things where you don't have to state what the appeal or review is for - the umpires just go through every option

So from 1 for a few overnight, we're now fucked.

Fall of wickets: 1-23 (Usman Khawaja, 5.5 ov), 2-65 (Travis Head, 12.6 ov), 3-85 (Steven Smith, 18.6 ov), 4-95 (Marnus Labuschagne, 21.4 ov), 5-95 (Matt Renshaw, 22.6 ov), 6-95 (Peter Handscomb, 23.1 ov), 7-95 (Pat Cummins, 23.2 ov)

    Fuck me.

Counter-counter point: there were some terrible shots in that innings I might add. Sure that ball kept low, but why was he playing it off the back foot like that, KNOWING it would be shit?

This could be an exciting finish.

A lot of runs still to get.
