How many games did the Crusaders lose this year?
And how many injuries did they have?
-
dunno, how many?
-
@mariner4life Haha.
Awful analysis, incorrect conclusions, zero insight
Wrong about pretty much everything
-
@mariner4life
I think they won the title, play off is all that counts remember,It does not matter if the ABs lose to France all about the 3 games at the end according to some Ferners
All about the trophy History remembers who won .
Crusaders success really does twist up some people I love it. -
which trophies did the ABs not win?

and no it doesn't. I don't care, they are fucking good when it matters, all power to them.
the overwhelming smug of supporters who have absolutely zilch to do with that success however does make me laugh

Luatua wasn't wanted for some ungodly reason
I know why they wanted Fifita, incredibly gifted, but they couldn't get the balance right. Akira very similar. PGS should never have been picked.
I am very interested in what the side looks like next year.
Him coming out and saying he didn’t like playing as a tight forward was probably a career limiting move
-
Yeah you are up set by their success,Standing out like dogs balls.

If the All Blacks do call up Blackadder you have to question what role Luke Jacobson has
This seems to be the selectors current preferences by position
6 - Shannon, Barrett, Papali'i, Jacobson
7 - Cane, Papali'i, Jacobson
8 - Savea, JacobsonIf Blackadder does get added doesn't he slot in ahead of Jacobson in every position?

I'd argue that Jacobson is only there in the selectors minds because Blackadder was injured.

Also as @Bovidae pointed out Vaai’i is somewhere in the rankings at 6. Just not sure where

@frugby although somewhat ironically, was on track to be fit prior to the 1st RWC game, while they had no idea about Narawa and also to be fit ahead of BR too...I think Blackadders breakability might count against him if/when they call up a replacement

Not sure if it occurs straight away, but by the next World Cup, I expect to see Gardiner and Haig dueling for the six jersey, Lakai, Papalii, Ardie, Suafoa, Grace, Withy, Flanders, Lio-Willie, Broughton, Sititi are the others I think will be in that loose forward picture... excuse me if I have forgotten someone.

Blackadder has also spent the best part of 18 months out though, so very hard to justify picking him when not fit... and I'll also say, one eye-catching display against a woeful Manawatu side doesn't make him the saviour some want him to be. Test rugby will be a massive step-up in physicality, and I can see a world where he comes in and breaks down again
...I think Blackadders breakability might count against him if/when they call up a replacement
I don't think it will stop them picking him though.

Yeah I had thought this , if you brought in Blackadder , would you be better off swapping out Jacobson for something bigger ( if it was that easy ) because isn’t it all too much of the same .

Funnily enough the ABs have won or retained all trophies they play for under Foz! Actually up to this satge is most successful AB coach at that since turn of the century!

Yeah not necessarily a loose forward, another lock would be useful too

Narawa seems to have been very unlucky based on this.
"It's incredibly sad. In the Twickenham week, he ran his fastest time of the year. He was coming back from a niggly back after the Argentina test. He felt he was coming right; he's trained well and worked incredibly hard, but the last thing he did on Monday was jar it. It turns out it was the other side of the disc.

It is pretty funny.
I suppose we can ignore the home loss to Argentina and home series loss to Ireland because no "trophies" were up for grabs.
