@Chris base it in Cairns we have the best ground
I'll come back for a game if they get a team!
Maybe a day at the races too...

the mankad is out of control
annoying twink Adam Zampa tried one last night, in a similar vein to others i have seen, where they actually get all the way through their action but don't let go of the ball, then turn around and whip the bails off. It's shit cricket, and at least the annoying little shit wasn't rewarded.
Look, i was a bowler, and i too hate that the game is skewed towards batsmen. And there should be recompense for them leaving their crease early. But if, under normal playing conditions, you leave when the ball should have left the hand, that's not early, that's allowable. Not letting go of the ball is shit cricket.
in short, fuck off Zampa you overly emotional little git. oh and you're team lost. suck shit

@mariner4life I was at the game last night and it was interesting that it was 80%+ Stars supporters but when Zampa came out to bat the boos were loud as.
I don’t think the crowd liked his mankad stunt.
Stars batting was dumb.

The BBL has been pretty good this season
Adelaide just runs down 230 to beat Hobart. Great chase

@Duluth Colin Munro going well. CDG Boult and Guptill pretty average.
Park Cricket Colin is going okay. Nothing big but he's playing a decent role in the middle.

David Warner was surprisingly good in the commentary box tonite in a one sided match. And AJ Tye was very amusing in the post match interviews for mom. Great to see the player personalities coming through and insightful stories from within the camps.
I wish we could replicate this stuff in NZ cricket and rugby. I am sure there are lots of players who could shine and promote the game and its personalities and drag in more fans.

Good little prelim final last night
A tricky, sticky little low slow wicket in Sydney allowed the Heat to strangle the Sixers to 116/9
Which, with their pretty average batting lineup, was still a tough chase. And it took Michael Neser score nearly a quarter of the runs in the game to get them home
So the Heat have gone from basically the bottom at the near half way mark, to making the Final
Where Perth will most probably destroy them

Is Bazley the worst player in the comp?
Can't buy a run. Can't bowl.
