It's a geographical term. The country is not only populated by Arabs....

Argentina vs France would be the best final for a football spectacle.
Argentina will be missing both first-choice fullbacks for their SF.
So will France. Pavard and Lucas Hernandez. Also missing Kimpembe, Kante, Pogba, Benzema & Nkunku.
Agree that Argentina v France would be the best final. Morocco are dogged and I like the way they throw men forward when they do break but they looked to be running on empty by the end of their game. They park the bus really well though as do Croatia.

This is where sky is a problem. My sky box has no power so I can't record the game. If it was on demand like spark I could watch it later. Hopefully it's on demand on sky go but I'll have to run it through my phone and chrome cast as there is no sky go app on my tv
It's not there yet, but once the replay becomes available, you should be able to find it here on Sky Go:

I really enjoyed that France v England game - not always the highest quality but compelling and you always felt a goal was coming at either end unlike the other quarter-finals.
In the end, France carved out the clearer chances whereas England played very well at times but didn't get the bit of luck they needed in the box.
Not really sure why so many people are complaining about the ref - England had 2 penalties and numerous attacking free kicks. The foul on Kane in the first half was outside the box which is why the VAR did not refer the ref to the monitor. English exasperation at EVERY decision was getting tedious by the end.
Crazy foul on Mount to give away the 2nd penalty. Tough on Kane to take it - the temptation to double and triple guess yourself must be huge given Lloris is a good shot stopper.
Final petty observation - Rashford's final free kick was not close despite it rippling the top of the net and it annoys me when commentators get excited about it. Lloris knew it was sailing over from the moment the kick was taken.

It was very strange by Hernandez. Am I right in thinking that if the contact had been shoulder to shoulder (rather than to the back) it would have been legal?
I was surprised that Giroud didn't make more of a fuss when he was pushed in the back off the ball making a run into the box.
Agreed that that was a fun match though, I'm slightly afraid that that's going to end up a better match than either semi or the final.

Yes. The stupid thing is that Mount was never reaching the ball anyway as it was too high.

I mentioned that earlier. The refs non-decisions went both ways. Michael Oliver is the only QF ref who seems to have escaped any criticism from players and the media.

I find it an amazing that a 'sporting' culture allows open criticism, accusation and name calling of officials tbh.

That culture starts on the field when players rush to the ref and get in their faces with complaints/whinges. It's a big black mark on the sport.
