Yes we are really letting ourselves down in the kicking department.

Watching the halftime try highlights, Jason Ryan would have a lot of work to do with both teams on setting their maul defence....

Letting ourselves down a shitload more with poor handling. Pop kicks aren't going to be the difference.

Given we are hell bent on running it from everywhere, losing Woodman was a big blow

Double edged sword to some extent, her replacement has gone well (though acknowledging that drop), and the red card does give us extra space. Especially against tiring legs later. Fingers crossed...

She may not have the top end speed of Portia, but Ayesha has very quick feet and can change direction.

I am not too unhappy. I think it's pretty close to even Steven's at half time. They up by 7 but down a player. All 3 results possible here.

We do look pretty good with ball in hand. If we can cut the errors we might have this.

We have to keep it close and hope they tire enough in the final 15 to overtake them

@Damo key is stay out of our 22, so that if we do have to kick it out, they won't just maul it over

As long as Leti-I’iga catches the ball.

45 points in the first half and a converted try the difference.

    Crazy stuff.

All those nervous nellies saying we are in for a long night, are choking, overawed - 80 minute game you eggs 😉

We might have a little bit of wind in the second half so if we kick just a little longer this half we can use our pace and interplay to create chances.

Much of that changed when England lost a player. It's a better contest now that we only have to play 14 of theirs.

We have to hope that 15 v 14 wears them down

We found space when they had 15. Portia had made a good run prior to the run she got smashed in. Even that run was because we had created space by drawing in the English.

@canefan next 10 will be key, given it looked like we were wanting to run them off tjier feet from the start, with an extra player that should take its toll.

Unforced error count by NZ is a little higher than what you'd want in a WC final.

As long as you're breaking a proportionate number of tackles it doesn't matter

    Replacement is handy

Very, would have been great to inject her as a super sub as well Woodman

Most likely see another truck load of tries in the second half, defence seems optional by both teams in this one.

I'm prepared to say we'd be getting smashed if we were playing 15 vs 15 right now.

Yeah England fatties are going to be feeling it at 60. Their defence is in shreds already after two phases.

Just have to hope the BFs don't get a red card...
