SA needed to win by 30 pts so there was never any urgency from NZ.

I haven't watched a lot of Sevens the last few years, but in what I have seen of the NZ Sevens team this season I have been very impressed by their support play. I dont recall this being so good previously.

Australia just lost the QF to Argentina, who are playing very well. Not good for the Aussies' overall standing and Olympic qualification.

    FT: Argentina 29 - 12 Australia

    Now, France v Fiji.

Fiji lose a player to a red card. Can't see France winning this game, but it means Fiji will miss that player for the rest of the tournament.

First try to Rokolisoa! Lucky with referee's call (or rather, no-call).

    7 - 0 AB7s

Yeah Rikki not understanding the call in commentary, thought it was the YC player hobbling off. Was just we had 7 on the pitch.

I picked it up on the replay when I was thinking they has gone around us because we only had 6 players so was counting the defenders... and nup. Disappointing they did that against a full defensive line.

AB7s looked absolutely knackered, barely into the second half.

Hard to see us beating Fiji, a few boys look battered, plus Nicole and Collier are in some pretty yuck form.

He'd be one of the battered few boys, yeah.

Spain just beat South Africa for the first time. At best, South Africa can finish 11th in Singapore.
