Rewatched the first half. Havili going off really messed up our backline. Sotutu was bloody good. Retallick shouldn't be on the field. His carrying and defence are weak. Tight five not very good. Barrett should be at lock.
The disruption of losing two 12's was massive.
As for playing 3 locks.. if you do that, the last person you want to get a YC is your openside. That left us with 3 locks and Sotutu as the only specialist loosie for 10mins. The Aussie trio took the upper hand from then on
Yeah all the people saying we missed canes, not right. It is more that the loose forwaqrd trio was well fucked. Scooter is a better lock than BBBR at the moment, should not be at 6. But Foster is a tool

Fair enough but he was defending well until his HIA

On my rewatch one of the Ozzies actually jumps at the last penaly we took! Should be another penaly the grub!
The three comeback tries were really on ABs errors (first one should've been scrubbed). And these were all not acceptable 'I'd be happy they were all never seen in black again' level errors
Sotutu misses Foley badly
CC just fucking digs in by dozens of metres
Jordan can't tackle or even slow Samu"winning" penalty for Oz was Akira being unable to actually clean in a normal ruck, pathetic

That winning penalty was a fucking joke. Reynal stood right there as Foketi crawls into the ruck on his knees to jackal. He was never on his feet.
I was fucking seething as we scored the winning try because I still thought we had lost the game over that call.
He was shite in Chicago in our first loss to the Irish too.
A fucking toerag

I wonder if Foley taking that conversion quickly pissed the ref off
-
@No-Quarter maybe, but that's average still from the Frenchie, he really should have rubbed out that conversion.
-
Into the 2nd half of Spidercam. No good overhead angle on the Kellaway try to see if forward. But you can really see how bad the read is from Clarke in cover. JB is up in the defensive line from the first phase after the lineout, so CC drops back. But he's soooo slow to see the line Kellaway runs off Foley, he's 3 steps too late
-
Fark, I'm starting to sound like a CC hater now, which I'm really not, but the 2nd Kellaway try is an even worse read. Flying up like that into space that RM already has covered, leaving a 2-on-one for JB to defend. I'm no RM defender, but he does really well to scramble back, ultimately too little, too late.

He can't, the NPC rules doesn't apply.

Surely that's not true. If the ref says "don't kick yet" and someone ignores him, you're saying it has to stand? Is it a matter of calling time off?
