Prediction, we lose to Ozzie over there, then come back at Eden park.
That's our lot in life I am afraid. Bouncing from good performance to dreadful performance week by week.
Totally. Press will was lyrical, like after SA2. Then
Back to Foster's follies

Losing the first game to a team before we work them out Is not a good strategy for RWC
lol, true but chiefs fans have seen thus Foster strategy for years

This in an improvement. Normally it's one good game followed by 2 shit games. Mind you, it's only half-time....
Game one looked like this, a big, at first half

What nonsense
He’s done some great things
He’s done some really shit things which have gone unpunished
He’s had an easy ride and doesn’t need to make lightning in a bottle every play
If that’s hating then no wonder nobody’s learning from the learnings

A half that was basically the Forwards smashing everything on both sides of the ball, and the play unfolding off that
If I can quibble, we still don't hit on to the ball (except ST). It's all standing start stutter step.
But we haven't allowed Argentina a fucking thing. And if we keep it up it'll get ugly later.

Who are the Hurricanes scrum and forwards coaches? Quite a turn around from Lomax!
How good is he going this year?

Pumas are getting a bit nervous of the hits when they go wide. Can see guys looking and snatching at the ball whereas last week it was easy yards and space for days. Amazing what concerted effort, accuracy, and aggression can trigger.
This 100%.
You can only play the style they did last week and win if you are in touch on the scoreboard. Once we got out in front they tightened up, pushed passes, snatched at the ball…… basically just like we did in the last 20 last week. -

For sure but good to see the backs using the ball in a smarter way as well.

The backs still need some work. Some great stuff. Not clearing from 22 when you have heaps of time not so much. Kicking variations yes, but chip kicks from 22, not when you can kick it 50m.

Kicking to regain possession seems to be a tactic tonight maybe because it’s wet and hard to diffuse those chip kicks.

Should airways be a tactic, variation helps a lot.
Smith has run more metres tonight than for years
