France or Wales I could live with.

    Unbearable - Ireland, Springboks, Australia

    and England.

Australia will have the same 24 year gap they used to laugh at us about so fuck them.
England will be on a 20 year gap so they can wait longer.
SA only win every 12 years (95,07,19) so aren't due
    France are well overdue.
I think we would make a logical pattern if we won next time.

Wales, Ireland, Scotland don't deserve to win. Just because.

Pragmatically speaking an Aussie win would help NZ rugby. Interest in SR pacific would grow etc

That’s far too sensible fella, even though I agree with the principle that the best scenario for NZ rugby improvement and interest is a strong OZ. But I’ll be damned if I see Rennie lead an Aussie team to RWC glory 🤮

Interesting how many of us chose France, I'm included, though if we are into the very unlikely candidates, I'd prefer Argentina.

For me I don't want the Boks pulling away from us. Couldn't stand Oz winning cos I live here. England nah. Ireland can fck off.

    Wales v NZ Final

Wales to win for the first time in 70 years

    The stuff of dreams

    And delusion

In order of worst to least worst...

    1. England
    2. Australia / South Africa - I don't know what would be worse between Australia joining us on 3 cups (plus their general Australian-ness) or RSA equally our back-to-back record and overtaking us in cups won
    3. Ireland - although, if they win it playing the way they did in July I would have to admire them begrudgingly
    4. Scotland - lol
    5. France - I know a few too many French people who know SFA about rugby who would enjoy this too much
    6. Wales
    7. Argentina

Just not England or Australia. Probably South Africa just so they can't beat out record.

If we cant win, someone should steal the Cup and runaway...take the ball and go home 🙂

Not England, Not Aus, Not SA and Not Ireland, I can make peace with anyone else winning it.

    and England.

No problem with England as far as the genuine rugby supporters are concerned. Actually be happy for them

It's the inevitable fair-weather "fans" and triumphalist "This is the Greatest Rugby Team Ever" media which makes it a no-no for me.

You know what, I really wouldn't mind Wales slipping one past us on, say, an EOYT as you lot tend to play the game as it should be played and Cardiff, apart from the Game That Was Never Played, has always been a great experience.

    But a RWC Final? Nah.

That's a tough question, but I'd probably have to say Wales

I've often said if not the All Blacks, then Les Bleus: Often the bridesmaid, never the bride. And of all nations I've yet to meet a real dick of a French supporter. I'm sure they have some, but I've met a lot and they were all good.

Next would be Argentina. I've played Argentinian teams and apart from the machismo carry on, they're good people. Red wine, steak and no pasé años estudiando español para no usarlo coqueteando con las mujeres.

Then the Welsh, because they love rugby.

Of the NH sides , I’ll take Wales ,

Prefer France over the other big threats like South Africa , England and Ireland ,

But out of the lot I’d take Samoa

If we're going for options that aren't realistic, I pick Georgia. 😃
