Cheers for the Advantage tip too
How good was that!! So awesome to see kiwi horses turn up and deliver in Aus. Really gutsy to fight back and win after resin got ahead
Great. Because I got that and one in Mornington, and nothing else all day

I read about that. I see they have 80% racing share but do they own the horse? Was it the lessor that tried to retrieve the horse?
That was out of it.

You would think if it was the lessor and they had a legal right then they would do at daytime tho through normal practices
They would have no legal right though if they had leased the horse out (which is usually until they up until the end of their 5 year old season).

Ahh. Just thought if hadnt paid up leasing fees etc (dunno how it works ie, all up front or monthly / annually etc) then there would be a right by the lessor to take it back

The only leases I have seen for horses are no fees at all but sometimes 10% of winning stakes.
Generally Fillies so that hopefully you get a decent broodmare out of it. I have seen the odd Gelding too but they are usually short term leases so that the lessee and lessor can sell it and both benefit.

I don’t think they own it - pretty sure they have a leased share, but my understanding is that things are in order on their side.
It’s super scary - something worth that much being rabbitted around your property at night - included get off and bolting around for a bit apparently - then being shoved onto a float in the middle of the night. I think it’d never been on a float either. Lucky the thing didn’t end up getting hurt.

Absolutely!!! Thoroughbreds are super strong and super brittle! Could have easily gone off.
Glad to hear the horse is ok. If you get more information, I would love to know the "why" of this, as in why they thought they were entitled to retrieve it

How good are the fields for the G1s at Randwick on Saturday?
I pretty much emptied my accounts last weekend, and this weekend doesn't look any easier to recoup that money.

Huge. I have microphone to win the sires as last leg of a futures multi (nature strip, verry ellegant and avilius all already home). Has drawn horribly and the buggers arent offering any cash out.

i saw the odds on Microphone and almost jumped, then i saw the field. And then i saw the barrier.

Fucking car park barrier draws!!! Pols drew 17 from a 16 horse field. Likely to get into 13 but will likely scratch.
Where is Polly Grey racing? I think we are going to Pukekohe on Sunday as Campari is back in action and kicking off there. Not a particularly strong race but not seen any odds yet

Santa Ana Lane my only win today

Had a couple of ok wins this weekend actually looking back. Set to sparkle, Noble Boy (free money that one!) in the country champs, Lady Pluck (Brunton places his horses so well and when he sends them from Tas to vic you follow), Won ball and Julkis. Had some mail on a runner at Toowoomba I meant to follow but didnt and it ended up a $9 winner grrr.
Microphone tho....wow from that draw it was great ride by bowman. Sliced back through to near the rail and a gutsy gutsy run to the line. Really did not expect that multi to come through as a winner. Biggest win of the year so far.
