anyone on the superbowl today?
Thinking Chiefs and over 53.5 points but not the biggest NFL fan. Just keen for a small investment if its gonna be on everywhere
That was my exact bet at about $3.50?
Yes mate

Geeez looks a long way from going overs at the current time.
A few nags running around later today at Dubbo that might go better for me
Race 5 - Thermosa
Race 7 - Joeys ChangeBoth about $3 so maybe a cheeky monday arvo double
Yuck

Solomon and Ricky Baker racing at Riccarton this weekend
Race 4 is Sols with Jasmine aboard and Race 5 is Ricky and for some extraordinary reason which I am going to find out, he has put that bloody Jason Laking back on when Jasmine doesn't have a ride in the race. Madness.
So back Sols and write off Ricky in coming in the first 10 horses home

Damn, didn't check my emails and just saw Some Do ran last night and won at $11 or so.
Congrats @Smudge

Cheers. We had Need You Now in the non-tote race prior to the meeting and she won too so I got a nice bump to the account.

@Smudge What does that mean, assume not official or something as I only got the reminder for Some Do...not that I benefitted
They didn't take tote (regular) betting, as they only got 4 nominations so there was only fixed odds on the race. She paid about $2 on the fixed odds.

Booooo favourites winning
-
@mariner4life Solomon came through to place @$3.00
Ricky Baker did as @Hooroo expected
-
$2 favourite after $2 favourite
Not good for the Mariners punting strategy
-
@mariner4life so if you had bet on them all, you woulda doubled your money, no?
So easy bro!

Looking forward to see how Catalyst lines up vs Alligator Blood (and others) on sat in the CS Hayes stakes.
I think there may be a bit too much hype around this NZ 3 year old BUT would love to be proved wrong and hopefully we see that on Sat. Sounds like has traveled across well and yesterdays gallop looked good. Has drawn the outside barrier but actually dont think it will be an issue given how it tends to start however they wont want it to be as sluggish as it was at Ellerslie a few weeks back.
Some good racing at randwick on sat too. Another heavy track but should be able to find some value in there

Yeah, but he looks the nuts though. He'll definitely be competitive and let's hope he chews them up. Alligator Blood though. Pretty Big Job!

@Smudge I see Some Do is running tonight, currently paying $15 for the win...
-
@taniwharugby Looks like she's being given a head start on the favourites - I like that!
