@FakatavaAllBlack we have a good squad on paper...the bigger thing for me is the improvement in our defence, Marty Veale earning his money there.
Sure Wellington were pretty poor, but the constant pressure on them by our defence was huge.
We are showign glimpses of things on attack, but today probably wasnt the day, aside from that slick try to end the 1st half...the poor timing of alot of runs/passes, especially off set piece is not great, but hopefully if we get some better conditions we might be able to get some things going.
Was great to see the pack muscle up to score a nice try, and then the backs, not to be outdone, score a sweet try too!
But gee, if someone had said we'd be 2 from 3 after playing 'naki away, Waikato at home and Wellington away, while only scoring 37 points I'd have laughed at them!
Well done lads, well done!
