@Crucial you get what people mean surely
other teams might spend time building phases, working their way up field and yes....the perfect dummy or skip pass puts someone over the line
We try and do our moment of brilliance inside out own half and strike from anywhere without the graft to put them in a position where it is more likely to work
Don't we need to do both?
There was a fair bit of that in Boer II, IIRC.
of course thats what we should be aiming for, i only have a problem when we only try and do the fancy stuff and not the hard graft

You wonder if he'd have been picked at 10? Foster changes his mind like a battleship turns, once you're in you're in, but if you're just getting going chopping and changing is his way. It's bizarre

i reckon this place would have kicked right off

Foster might still get a hostile crowd reception but selecting Mo'unga in a Chch test will certainly help his cause. I don't expect any changes to the starting XV.
I know a backline that would endear him to the Chch crowd….

@ACT-Crusader Would they even notice with the eye patch on?

Would love to see how Perofeta goes at 10 after Mounga has played the first 60 or so(assuming we can afford to bring him on)
Taranaki didn't bother starting him at 10 on the weekend. That would have been an ideal time to give him a run there.

It’s a tad concerning that his noggin is copping quite a few knocks lately.
Has it been confirmed that his noggin took the knock?
-
@ACT-Crusader Not as far as I have seen.

Think he'll be on the bench if BB is ruled out but Ritche may well play the full 80 depending on how the game pans out.

Just throwing it out there, but could we see the same starting backline as SA 2, but on the bench have a midfielder (QT or RTS) plus a winger (eg Reece).
Plan to play Mo’unga for 80 and better utilise the options on the bench. If he gets crook we run with either Jordie or Havili at 10.
