@broughie Next year looks very interesting a new coaching setup and a number of players leaving after the World Cup. While many players have left it seems we could get a lot of coaches back from overseas.
You think Vern Cotter might fancy the Hurricanes job assuming Holland's contract isn't extended after 2023?

Or back to the Crusaders were he has been a coach before in 2005 & 2006.

If Robertson does get the AB gig from 2024, and the assistants he wanted last year, there will be 3 SR head coaching jobs available (Blues, Hurricanes and Crusaders). We know the Blues had a succession plan, but I don't know about the other two franchises.

As long as Holland leaves, I'm all good with that

Interesting to see Crusaders CEO hinting that Razor perhaps gets too much credit for the squads resuts?
But really bloody interesting to see hgow good their academy is and how much they seem to spend on it!

https://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/rugby/super-rugby/300796610/webb-of-intrigue-the-man-behind-the-crusaders-production-lineIt is notable that Blackadder had a very good squad and never won a chip for the same organisation

Mate don't tell me , I didn't say it. I actually thought it was more interesting to see about how the academy works how much Crusaders put into it (same as the actual Crusaders squad) and the forward planning they do (ie seeing where they think they need players in certain position a few years ahead). Out of interest he only talking about the last 10 years since he been there and the set up, and would Blackadder of even benefited from that set up? Did you not read it?

@Dan54 Robertson has been with the Crusaders for 6 seasons. Blackadder had the 8 seasons before that. You can do the math; Blackadder would have been able to benefit at least the last few seasons he was coaching them.
Is Blackadder trying for AB job, not sure why he's in the conversation,

@Stargazer I repeat I didn't say it the Crusaders CEO said it and why is anyone discussing Blackadder anyway? I not saying Blackadder was a good or bad coach, just not relevant. And anyway enough about him, just find how well organised their academy is seems bloody great to me.

You are doing an excellent job of missing the point. The CEO tries to imply Razor's role in their success was not as great as we are led to believe. I say the organisation is the same yet Toddy couldn't achieve the same results as Razor. Capiche? It's not about you
