@Canes4life I like yours except I'd have Sullivan at 13. Proctor D though is probably better.
This would be handy too:
Roigard
Love
Rayasi
Higgins
Sullivan
Moorby
BarrettI like that aswell. Nice mix, I think we will see a few combinations this year but we look strong and that’s the main thing.

@Canes4life yea normally we're griping about who they pick, this year all options are solid.
I do think though Perenara is a locked on starter, and probably Julian too. Even though they shouldn't be.

Hurricanes 2023 squad.

So Tosi is the 6th prop, Devery is the third hooker, and Gibson has been dropped.
That squad is strong and I think we can definitely win the title. Need to keep key players fit though.

A lot of loose forwards, even after moving Delany to lock.
I think 8 is the usual amount isn’t it?

Kini Naholo makes his third Super side. Has he ever actually played a game though?
I don’t think so. Only pre-season I assume.

Between him and his brother they have the fullset of jerseys.
-
I like that squad although I was hoping Sheck might get in for Tosi. I guess Tosi needs more game time at this level he wasn't used much at all last year.
What's the word on Devery?
Prinsep should not be anywhere near the 23. The squad looks great.
I am a bit surprised at no Gibson. If Ardie is at 8 that means Kirifi is the only genuine 7 right?

He played for the Crusaders last year (against Moana Pasifika, I think). He might have had a game for the Chiefs too.

The Hurricanes have selected a 22:16 forwards:backs split while the Blues and Chiefs have gone for 21:17. The balance will differ depending on how versatile the players are within each squad.

Devery started the season strong for us last year before getting injured, so he probably gets rewarded despite not playing in the NPC this year.
I'm hoping they use Ardie at 7 so we get to see Ardie and Lakai together. Alternatively, Lakai can also play 7 which he's done a lot of during age-grade rugby.

Good squad was very suprised they stuck with Tosi though I’m happy they did also shocked Gibson got dropped they seemed to be dribbling all over him when he signed so happy PUJ is staying.
I'm really intrigued to see the Highlanders squad now, to see whether guys like Gibson, O'Reilly and Garden-Bachop end up there.

Overall I'm stoked with this squad.
I'd have the Crusaders as favourites but I feel the Blues/Canes/Chiefs all look pretty even and can all challenge for the title.
