Well he is good lineout forward. Adds real physicality to the pack. I think the lesson from 2021 (RSA/IRE/FRA) is that we need tighter, bigger forwards.

I often wonder if the 9 needs more authority in those situations, they have the best view.

From his drive at the line before we can confirm he is not smart at all, and just follows the plan without changing what he does due to circumstances
