I don't think that was deserved. He had his hand on the ball as he made the tackle and still had his hands on the ball when he went to ground. It's a penalty, but shouldn't be a yellow.
You should think of taking up reffing, NZR would fast track you.

Chch sly cheating has been called out by ref and as a result unable to slow Blues ball.
Fucken hell, even getting carded like other teams would! What's going on?
Weak card. If that was given the other way around the Fern would be spitting tacks.
But very good first half from the Blues. They look the better side. Smothering the Crusaders and making ground with comparative ease.

Yeah nah. Cards like that are dished out most weeks to other teams, it's only odd because it's the crusaders.

Surely Blues can’t lose from here…
Surely the margin is too small to deter the mighty Saders?

Unsurprising first half given Blues were/are favourites.

What was he supposed to do? Leave his hand where it was? Not sure that was physically possible.

Man that's some costly misses
Perofeta has been hugely damaging, evading Saders with his footwork. But not sealing the deal.

Crusaders were five points favourites at the TAB, and were tipped by almost everyone in the Fern Tipping Competition.

Eh? He probably shouldn't have done a cynical foul is my take. Playing the ball on the ground when the other team are hot on attack, I know they usually get away with it, but that's a YC as sure as anything. But ok he did well to make it look accidental....they always do (and then get burnt when playing test rugby).

Nope, a penalty like that, hot on attack. Cynical and yellow, correct call
I don't think it was cynical. That's the point. I think his hand was on the ball already and he just kept it there.

The last bit is why it's cynical under pressure.
