Some of the Landers one on one tackling is appalling technique

Aumua and Tavatavanawai are just making these defenders look like kids.

Been impressed with Faingaanuku this season. Way better than when he was with the Highlanders.

@machpants They have some really shite players.

If any idiot mentions Jermaine Anesley and the ABs again then I will ban them.

Wow. I'd take the three from there.

I'm starting to see why they want to spend more time in the MP half of the field. Terrible ball security and tackling.

Exits after scoring are so important.

That's being kind. They're more like toasters.

Nice one toilet, quick thinking. But Landers almost fucked up another maul versus the inept MP

It might not be pretty but it's smart play from Landers

That's the big work on for MP isn't it? A decent set piece and they'd be much more of a problem for the established teams.

Totally, pretty much every other team could just maul them to death. Landers were really rubbish there but still got the score

MP look good when they have ball in hand. Rolling maul a problem though but they're still in this.

@tim To be fair, a lot of average players get mentioned as possible ABs on here.

MP are in year 1 , if this was their 2nd or 3rd year then i would be discussing their work ons , i am staggered they are this competitive especially given their disruptive start to the season ..
Check out the Crusaders in 1996 ..had some cricket scores posted against them..

Funaki becomes a penalty magnet in a maul.
