But when the Saders got a chance, they’d find their GOOJFC - steal a re-thrown line out, get a guy over the ball to make a steal, time your attack on the HB.

The last 20 mins highlighted the problems the Highlanders are having this year. Good field position but not clinical enough to take some opportunities.

Well done Crusaders. Holding on against the odds and playing to the letter of the law vastly better. Far too many errors from Highlanders midfield. Why oh why did Fakatava not grubber and chase when he got isolated after a great run? Blackadder was superb while other forwards looked ponderous. And Reece was great too.

It'll be interesting to see how Fakatava goes in his next start. There'll be more pressure on kicking and game management etc. Good signs tonight though.
