Looks likes NZR might have found someone with a brain. That draw carefully dances around the Women's RWC.
Sky could have been cynical and not bothered if there was a clash. I'm sure NZR wouldn't have been happy though.
The QFs have worked out well as there are three derbies, including a big grudge match in Wellington.

QF2: Odds 2 plays Odds 3 (Waikato v BOP)
QF3: Evens 1 plays Evens 4 (Canterbury v Northland)
QF4: Evens 2 plays Evens 3 (North Harbour v Auckland)Two Semi-Finals will take place between winners of QF 1 and QF 4; and winners of QF 2 and QF 3.
Matches to be played at the home venue of the Premier Competition Union with the higher finals ranking. -

I know we have moved on from the NPC and talking about Super sides, but I want to say I really enjoyed the NPC this year.
I enjoyed that it seemed most teams had the ability to beat any other on their day and for me, it seemed there were more youngsters announcing themselves this year. It looks like there is some serious talent coming through.
It may be a Mickey Mouse competition as some called it, but it got me watching consistently for the first time in god knows how long.
