I don't really see how they're going to ensure safety now, there must be hundreds of those fucken things.
I'm guessing they'll go underground into the pipes and weld them all from below.
Well they've got 80 minutes to do that!

If there's a place where money can make things happen, I'd wager it's there!

@antipodean crikey when were you last in the states!

Police moving spectators out of the stands. FP2 moved back another half an hour. This is more and more looking like a sham of an event. FIA are going to to have some uncomfortable questions to answer.

Joke.
10-place grid penalty for Sainz
Carlos Sainz will take a drop of 10 places for the Las Vegas Grand Prix for exceeding power unit components after hitting the manhole cover on first practice.Oof.
Nothing in the rules allows them to waive the penalty. Apparently they were looking for a clause that would allow them to
According to the commentary all teams were approached about waiving the penalty and one team, Mercedes, said no.
Shitty from Mercedes if that is true. However 2nd place vs 3rd in the constructors is worth a few million. So I guess some criticism for a weekend is worth that
They need to change the rules for next year

America fuck yeah! It doesn't take long for the suing to get going!

They're only suing for 30k so that seems kinda fair to me.

If Charles didn't have bad luck, he'd have none.

I'd happily take his luck...

He was pretty scathing of his car last year and is no doubt pretty desperate to finish his legacy on a high and go past Schumacher, so I don't think it's hugely surprising but a big move nonetheless.

it is a little bit of a gamble though isn't it? Ferrari hasn't won a constructors or driver championship for what 15 years?
