Quotes from Foz
"The Northern Tour is always a highlight in the All Black calendar and this year is no exception," said coach Ian Foster. "With less than a year till the start of the Rugby World Cup, this tour gives us another great opportunity to grow from where we finished the Rugby Championship. Experiencing big Test matches in the north is great preparation for what is to come in France next year. "The addition of our All Blacks XV team will also help grow this experience across a wider group of players." Foster was excited by the return of Lienert-Brown while also signalling more chances for the fringe All Blacks, hinting we'll see more game time for Stephen Perofeta. "In the midfield you'll see a return of Anton Lienert-Brown. He's a very experienced, seasoned player for us, played a lot of test matches and we've got a lot of faith in him. He's coming back from a long term shoulder injury but he's now back playing and we can monitor him through the next two or three weeks but we're excited about his inclusion in the group," Foster said. "The tour also gives us a chance to play some of the younger or fringe guys that didn't get a lot of time during the Rugby Championship and I guess the likes of a Stephen Perofeta is one example of that of someone we'd really like to see get a lot more time on the park. He's warranted his inclusion on that basis."

I tend to think of leaguies as being big units
Isn't that a perceived holdover from the pre-professional days?
He looks way more jacked than Reiko Ioane who should probably spend more time in the weights room than on his phone.

Ennor and RTS lucky to be there - otherwise it looks good.
The real interest is in who is named in the AB XV squad tomorrow. The positions of who is named may hint at which players in this AB squad might get a run for the AB XV.
To be replaced by?

Why? He’s faster than anyone else we have and he doesn’t really lose physical exchanges. Plus RTS is flexing while doing exercises while Reiko is sitting on his arse reading the Fern and thinking “I’d like to see you fat fucks play centre”.

Tongue in cheek, I’m a big fan of Reiko.
I guess I’m just bemused that someone thinks RTS is not that big.
Here’s one more to scale.

I don’t think RTS is a big back in either rugby or league. Solid yep, but not tall or overly heavy. Both Reiko and Joey Manu tower over him and are slightly heavier and he’s smaller than a regular midfielder like say Alex Nankinvell.
Really, I’m only surprised by the surprise of @nzzp.

Surprising cos he’s only about 6 2……Geez the camera crew are gonna have real issues if Jordie and RTS get selected in midfield together at any stage.

Bit disappointing with a few selections, they are certainly hoping that some players come right in the next 12 months instead of looking to develop some.
But no real surprises

I don't really watch league, so when he rocked up I thought he'd be bigger. We haven't yet seen the best of him, but I don't think he's as big as Beaudy, and certianly not Rieko.

Did the ever growing Ardie steal one of his inches? 😱

Lam stands out as an obvious swap for Ennor as a centre/wing.
RTS - well you could either pick another midfielder (TUJ, PUJ, Aumua etc) or with Jordie/Havili/ALB at 12 you could pick another outside back.

Ennor? I'm going to have a meltdown. Not even sure he could carry the bags without getting an injury or dropping them on the tarmac.

If someone threw a bag at him he’d drop it too

Thankfully it's unlikely someone will kick a bag at him, cos no chance then
