After briefly switching games, I'm back at HN v Tamatea.
It's not the best of games, but Cooper Flanders is very busy, involved in all the action.
I'm basically watching this game because I want to have a good look at the halfbacks, but this game has been so messy that I have no idea. Shamara Brooks passing is pretty quick & accurate. Bracewell now on for the Villagers.

Full time scores (match sheets under the links):
Aotea 22 - 34 Tech
MAC 34 - 40 NOBM
Clive 26 - 38 HRS
Pirates 15 - 26 Central

Ryan Tongia sent off with a red card at the end of the game. He also scored a try for Aotea.
Bethel Leutele-Malasia got a yellow in the same game, and scored two tries. His twin Gilgal also scored a try.
MAC played the final 8 minutes with 13 men, with two players yellow-carded one minute after each other.Hopefully, all other match sheets will be completed, so we can at least see who scored the points and got the cards.

All is still well with the world, the trip back to Marewa will be most enjoyable as my guys remain at the top of the points table.
Meanwhile down in Wellington I managed to get back to the flat in Hataitai from Hataitai Park in a very pleasing 7 hours which is reasonably ok for about a 900 metre slalom like stagger, albeit nicely refreshed and in no danger of dehydration. Seem to have lost a bit of pace somewhere along the way, both drinking and walking. Sadly no need to refer to the Wellington Swindale Shield results to confirm what many MSP followers intimated to me in one of my comfort stops en route! Incidentally ran into Chicago Doyle who was making his senior club rugby debut today and took out the MSP player of the day award to cap it all off during my travels. -
Not looking good. I really hope they won't have to default their game.
This was posted an hour ago (approx. 1.00pm, Friday) on Tamatea's FB page:S.O.S.
Our club rugby Premier status is on the line.
