All is still well with the world, the trip back to Marewa will be most enjoyable as my guys remain at the top of the points table.
Meanwhile down in Wellington I managed to get back to the flat in Hataitai from Hataitai Park in a very pleasing 7 hours which is reasonably ok for about a 900 metre slalom like stagger, albeit nicely refreshed and in no danger of dehydration. Seem to have lost a bit of pace somewhere along the way, both drinking and walking. Sadly no need to refer to the Wellington Swindale Shield results to confirm what many MSP followers intimated to me in one of my comfort stops en route! Incidentally ran into Chicago Doyle who was making his senior club rugby debut today and took out the MSP player of the day award to cap it all off during my travels. -
Not looking good. I really hope they won't have to default their game.
This was posted an hour ago (approx. 1.00pm, Friday) on Tamatea's FB page:S.O.S.
Our club rugby Premier status is on the line.
We are in desperate need of players tomorrow, especially forwards.
If you can play please come and tautoko.
Meet at Bill Matthewson Park 2pm.
We need you now more than ever.

Horrendous hangover and I haven't even gone to sleep yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's one less jug I am now owing to @Stockcar86@Magpie_in_aus Other Texans results
Colts 69 - 00 Taradale
Womens 69 - 17 | Clive -
@Stargazer The starting hooker for my and @Magpie_in_aus Texans looks familiar, hopefully he will turn out to be equally as good as our former captain Ash Dixon turned out to be. Somewhat fortuitously I am up home for a couple of weeks so will be fronting up at Whitmore Park tomorrow to see how much we can put Pirates to the sword by.
