Most of the NZ lower order offers nothing with the bat.
If we lose this game I think NZ is gone as I don't expect them to beat England.
This was a frustrating performance. Usually got ourselves out by just missing balls, or helping full tosses onto the stumps. But we'd need to really step up for England, and even then it'd be tight.
228 not enough. Very hard to watch.

Great pressure put on after the spring bok reserve prop ran out coming back for 3

Is that an Olympic rings tattoo on Brits?
There is a story behind it.
She won gold in the javelin throw at the 2007 World Youth Championships in Athletics. She was in line to be selected for the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, before being involved in a road accident, which left her hospitalised for two months.

We have no complaints though. Just not good enough outside of a few very good players.
Our bowlers only threaten in patches then throw in some pies. Our fielding has way too many drops to take advantage of the opposition mistakes.
Once our top three bats are gone there is nothing to worry the scoreboard.
Simply have work to do. -

appealing for a run out when you never touched the ball though
That kinda sucked. Not cool.
Who tried that one on? Same player?

Our captain wasn't it?

Nah... a kiwi lass... can't remember who.
I can kinda buy that some batsmen/batspeople can't tell if the ball nicked the bat, or not. But you can't really get confused whether a recently smacked cricket ball hit/grazed one's fingers. -
Aha:
13.2 Devine to Wolvaardt, no run
Drilled back to hit the stumps at the non-striker's stump and they're checking if Devine got a finger or two and if Brits was inside the crease. New Zealand aren't looking excited so may not be a wicket at all. Wolvaardt struck it very hard back, and replays show Devine didn't get anything on it

Is the fielding always this atrocious?
Yeah... I mean, the phrase "throw like a girl" didn't pop out of nowhere.
The whole tournament's been a weird mixture of atrocious and brilliant fielding.
