Great game. Unfortunate who won...

Fuck

I hate sport. Sport sucks

Commiserations Cowboys. Seemed like a decent atmosphere so hope the @mariner4life whanau had a good night.
That Shaun Lane is some player. He knows how to use his size and get between the tacklers. Then he has skill to know what to do from a half break or offload.

I actually had a sinking feeling late in that match thinking about the Warriors and how so very far off we are from playing at this level of footy.
It’s been an amazing season for your team. Whilst disappointing to lose, I’d say they got further than many predicted.

I just watched a replay, that first try was a mile forward
The winning try was a fucking bullshit offload that most times goes nowhere and yet it went to hand.
Parramatta didn't make an error in the 2nd half. Great defence on the line. Lane somehow became Brad Clyde.
Just gutted. If they are playing Penrith next week I'll support Parramatta. If they fold in half like last time I'll be fucking furious

Forward pass aside (which clearly it was), was great game to watch as a neutral, both teams had some really solid plays. Had to laugh that two of Parra's best were ex warriors (and did nothing to different degrees at the warriors).
Hard luck you were one of the best teams to watch all year, can't take that away from you.

It was a terrific game. But now I'm just a tourist at the GF next weekend
-
Um so latrell Mitchell is a terrible fullback
Huge Penrith well done Huge performance
Kikau is scary
-
Massive second half by the Panthers. Bunnies had nothing (they’re lucky to be there in the first place).
Should be an interesting GF, two very different sides. I think I’ll go for the Eels

Penrith once it becomes a Penrith game will kill you
The Eels only chance is offloads. Their offload game last night was awesome, and it's how they have beaten Penrith in the past.
If you allow an arm wrestle with Penrith you lose
-
@ARHS Kikau was clearly on the warpath in the first half. Not sure what his points situation is or where he is up to on the judiciary front. But they need him.
You’ve gotta love the NRL commentators. After the shoulder and report, they immediately go into the whole “we want to see the best players on the party, if Penrith win of course”. No shame aye!
-
@ACT-Crusader allowing Burgess to play the final if South's got there was bad enough.
-
Grand final this weekend
Im guessing most will think Penrith win, but I would be surprised if many supporting them in the game.
Interestingly given no real supporters of either side..not as much interest either.
I will support the blue and yellow of Parramatta..just hope the good Parra turns up
-
I'm going. I'm taking the kids. My youngest is a Penrith supporter so he will be stoked when he finds out he's going.
I myself will be cheering on Parra (still so pissed the Cowboys couldn't get up)
But i do not expect them to win unless they can offload the ball a lot. Penrith's game style is perfect for this type of game. And they are unflappable, they stick to that structure no matter what.
Parra need huge shifts from their forwards, Moses to kick well, and then someone to break the game open out wider. And as i said, offload the ball.
-
@mariner4life a little worried about a couple of the Eels forwards being exploited by the Panthers halves. I think they’ve got the offload game in them, just that Panthers are better than most in crowding the tackle. So if they do get it off there are potential opportunities, but it’s a tough ask.
-
Lane and Papali'i and Paulo have a good offloading game, Lane especially is running good lines too.
Moses and Brown need to be on their game for Parra to stay in this.
For me Parra need to keep hitting up their big men, running good lines to smash Penrith., cant be passive just looking for space against the riff otherwise you will get hit from everywhere
