This is interesting.... rabits vs roosters
-
Brilliant brilliant Rabbitohs
-
Tom Burgess is the filthiest player in the game. Don't know how he gets away with the cheap shots. One or two of his team mates are not much better. Roosters only have themselves to blame for being behind though.
Crowd just loves the drama. Plenty of sparks ahead no doubt. -

Could say the same about JWH.
That guy is a fucking tool. Getting right up in the refs face.
-
@African-Monkey yep. At top of the next tier with Lattrell
-
well well
Friday was pretty average as the Panthers just crushed the Eels. Fuck the Panthers are a tough side to beat. They just kick you to death, smash you with sustained linespeed, and don't make errors (because they don't really throw much in attack). Eventually teams just crack. It is going to take something special to beat them again this year.
Lol at the Storm. They might finally be dead.
How good was the Cowboys win? Crazy fucking game ends with a 45m field goal.
I haven't seen yesterdays yet, only the "highlights". Seems both teams just wanted to bash each other.
Comp is still wide open (to be the team that loses teh GF)
-
i don't blame the players as much as the judiciary that continually lets guys off for shit acts. NAS should have been off for weeks before the finals. But didn't get suspended once.
The NRL has zero integrity.
-
Yep NAS should have been gone for a fair bit this season but the inconsistency in the interpretations varies week to week.
This was a weird weekend in terms of instructions to refs on how to manage what could be seen as foul play. I don't think the players were any worse than what they have been in the last few rounds, but more than a few yellow cards across the weekend for sure. Even in yesterdays game, I thought a few more could have gone to the bin given what the had deemed as foul play. The inconsistency of what they march people for week to week is insane.
The NRL in my mind still has the least duty of care for head contact and even worse, when they do have concussion, some of the prior concussed players should be sitting down for a lot longer, it should have also seen a few of yesterdays players not even play.
Still, Penrith the team to beat but all teams still have something to offer. Even the Raiders showed they're up for the grind, but Melbourne did look a shadow of their former selves. The only saving grace is that Joseph Manu and Jerome Hughes now have time to get over a few injuries without having to play further in the finals.

So this weekend will be interesting
wait, i just checked the draw. how to the Eels get the Raiders when the Sharks finished higher? That changes everything
Eels should be too good for the Raiders if they can sort themselves mentally
Sharks v Souths will be fucking epic. -

The other match though will be brutal. Think only Burgess likely unavailable out of remaining players still in finals (other charges for Roosters and Storm, but theyre gone). Sharks will be sweating on Finucane though
Thomas Burgess (Rabbitohs) Grade 2 High Tackle - TBC 2-3 matches
Thomas Burgess (Rabbitohs) Grade 1 High Tackle - TBC $1800-$2500
Taane Milne (Rabbitohs) Grade 1 High Tackle - TBC $1800-$2500 fine
Dale Finucane (Sharks) Grade 1 Crusher Tackle TBC $3000-2 matches
Taylan May (Panthers) Grade 2 High Tackle - Guilty, early plea 1 match
Spencer Leniu (Panthers)Grade 1 High Tackle - Guilty, early plea $750 fine -
@mariner4life and I’m hoping the Sharks stuff them bunnies.
Don’t care who wins the other one

assuming the winner of that gets to face the Cowboys, i hope they beat each other senseless
-
@ACT-Crusader lol, I dont like either of the supporter groups, but the sharks players seem to be a better bunch now that Gallen is gone. Graham still lurks though. Bunnies full of people everyone loves to hate
I will support Parra for the other one just so Ricky throws another tantrum about how they were robbed

What’s wrong with Graham? He’s always seemed one of the more likeable bogan rugby players.

You are in a very very small minority (an island of 1) on here wanting to see Sticky celebrate any winning….
