NRL 2022

I was about to say we haven’t looked that bad, but the last 6 minutes has been classic Warriors.
Montoya is surely a plant for the Eels
-
Well I'm watching the warriors first grade players make reserve grade errors to lose to a shit team
-
This roster is 5 years from competing

Nrl beats rugby union for drama and skills again this week. Just watched Storm have third loss in a row. What a nail biter though with numerous apparent tries ruled out. And with time up Storm milked a penalty call after playing basketball and gridiron passes. Match highlight was the skills of the rookie James Schiller scoring an outrageous chip and chase try. Really worth a look for any budding rugby winger.
-
@ARHS always love it when the Storm lose, even better when it’s a thriller!
I checked the table for the first time in ages and was quietly surprised we were only 12th. I thought we were 14th or 15th
Hopefully the Rabbits can keep the Dogs out so we stay 12th 😉

Melbourne are cooked. Already on the ropes, you lose Paps for the year and it is done.
The Dogs are in a good spot at the moment, and should attract the best available coach
I think the 8 is locked in now. I think the Storm having the Warriors and the Titans still to play keeps them in the 8 even if the rest goes wrong.
Because the bottom 3rd of the table is so bad, you'll probably need a winning record to come 8th.

the coaching bloodbath this season is unreal
We've had 3 go already. 2 more have been in the gun for months. And now the media are beating the drums for Griffen at the Dragons.
-
actually thinking about the Dragons they perfectly illustrate the "continue to fail" mindset that half the comp has.
Hire a "favourite son" coach and take too long to get rid when it was clear he was a bit shit. Hire a "6th to 9th" coach who has been moved on from a couple of clubs already.
Then spend your cap hiring old has-been-to-never-was players already cut by other clubs. Players like Woods, Mbye, McCulloch, McGuire. Repeatedly pick them in first grade despite adding fuck all.
It's a recipe followed by a bunch of clubs stuck on a treadmill.

this is also a club with a ownership/management that has a poor culture and it flows also from there.. unfortunately a few clubs like that including the tigers and the lets gone warrriors

Honestly what the fuck. It did seem pretty likely that the whole threat thing was some kids trying to be funny. But why, Just why, do people think it's funny to do shit like that?....

Society has a fucking problem.

Has for a while too...

as someone not averse to piling in here and having a real fucking go at professional players doing their job poorly (in my eyes), often after a beer of 5
i still don't understand how you go from that to sending direct to their socials and attacking them personally, mentioning their family, or getting racist. How fucking dead inside do you have to be for that to even cross your fucking mind??
-
You can see why someone like Vettel so cautiously guards his privacy. There's mentally unstable people out there.

and apparently the Eels are shopping around Brad Arthur if they don't turn up for finals this year.
Do these clubs no more about who is there to take over than i do? I hope for their sake they don't think guys like Toovey or Seibold or Fittler are the answer

unless someone has finally convinced Ciraldo to sign somewhere?
feel sorry for that young coach so much pressure on him as everyone wants him but he hasn't delivered anything under his own watch at this level yet
To be fair a lot of clubs could do with a Brad Arthur
-
one that has avoided the bloodbath is Sticky, who got himself an extension
two decades since he won a premiership. Fuck that is a long time.
I will not miss Ricky when he is gone. Teflon-coated when it comes to media scrutiny, and nothing is ever his fault.
-
@bayimports the heat will be on that guy from day 1. you can see why he is being very choosy about where he goes.
