2022 School rugby
-
With preseason starting this weekend (some trial games have already been played), here's a reminder of the Experimental Domestic Safety Law Variations (EDSLVs) that are being introduced in the 2022 season:
EXPERIMENTAL DSLVs
Several Experimental Domestic Safety Law Variations (EDSLVs) are being introduced in the 2022 season which Provincial Unions must introduce. In addition to the EDSLVs, there are a number of Selected EDSLVs (SEDSLVs). Individual provincial unions may adopt any of these and trial them in identified grade/s of rugby if they so choose.
Teenage
Following a series of trials in Provincial Unions competitions, workshops, and working groups, five Experimental Domestic Safety Law Variations (EDSLVs) are being rolled out across Secondary School Rugby in 2022.
These include scrum constraints around resets, a new offside line for the opposing halfback at the scrum, and the addition of amending field dimensions to Game On.

You can find the "Selected EDSLVs" here:
https://www.rugbytoolbox.co.nz/the-game/rugby-laws/experimental-dslvs/selected-edslv-trialsAll these domestic law variations come on top of the World Rugby law trials that are already being used in Super Rugby (50:22, goal line drop-out, flying wedge, 1-player prelatched and Targeting of Lower Limbs at the ruck).

@stargazer In the absence of a media release Feilding Ag must still be conducting trials before finalising their girls 1st XV.

@bovidae There were plenty already last week.
My comment was more about the number of pre-season games increasing by the week. Unfortunately, some schools are better at promoting their games, while for others you wouldn't know they are playing.
-
There will be more games, because - as @Bovidae says - some schools don't let anyone know they're playing.
Here's a list for this weekend. If I find more games, I'll add them to this list.
