The first 20 of the 2nd half showed that the players aren't as bad as what they have shown over the last two weeks. We are just being so badly coached.
Badly selected - and the use of the subs is criminal.
-
These two losses probably a reality check where we are really at

So what is the deal with the forwards deciding to take it up the guts every now and then, and we suddenly look dominant? Is that them saying to hell with Fosters game plan and just doing what they want? I just don't understand why we wouldn't do it from the get go, we'd wear teams down and then run rampant in the 2nd 40 if we did. But instead we try to play Helter skelter bullshit from the start of the test which opposition defenses just eat up.
From static ball and with flat footed players. It's completely idiotic.
-
So why was Cane not subbed?

As with the first test against SA, its the 3rd quarter when we use our big carriers up the middle that we look good.
That 20mins was the main positive
It showed the tactics we need to use next year. We have forwards that can get a roll on around the fringes. It's about using them correctly
Taukei’aho, Akira, Savea etc were excellent during that period. They got us back into the game. -
I think DH at 12 was a failure. Looked good against weaker sides but not at serious test level.
RM is still a head scratcher. R Ioane was really good, I guess one of two little shining features (the other, ST, again).
We need to better use our wings.
Our tight forwards I thought overall were ok-ish (helped by ST) but generally lack spark (and Nepo was Nepo again). Our loosies-not their finest hour. Thought Cane won some crucial turnovers only to be overlooked by Wayne Barnes giving a penalty elsewhere.
Turns out when JB and Smith are not in peak form they can't paper over the cracks. -
Havili and Mo'unga really did shit the bed in that 2nd 40

On the positive side Mils is a pretty good commentator.
Or maybe it just seems that way compared to Marshall.
Low benchmark.

They did look a bit camenbert soft when we drove it up the middle.

Our biggest issue is that we don't have strong 10s right now and need to reevaluate our kicking game entirely.

Can we bench Marshall? He's a hypocritical twat. Need to do this, need to do that... all things he never did.

No one's going to talk about aura for 20 years.

In the post match on field interview Sam Whitelock listens patiently and politely to the extended speeches offered by the reporter doing 90% of the talking!!!
