I read pretty recently that Curry was expecting to be available for Rio.

I though they said Dickson's injury had ended his season, but Google suggests you're right. That's good and adds to the selection question.

Chris B, I reckon SBW and Kaka are certainties. Kaka is a genuine "something from nothing" option. Plus his quick acceleration is pretty important for us.

SBW on the big stage and all that....

Yeah I reckon SBW is a lock. Nearly won the QF today with the inside ball round the back of the tackler but Baker couldn't grab it.

Not so sure about Messam.

Kaka I also think is a lock. He's about the only playmaker we have. Pulu is out isn't he?

Yeah i thought so. He would have been in the side i reckon.

Savea and Rieko (is it Rieko or Reiko? It appears Stuff doesn't know: http://i.stuff.co.nz/sport/rugby/super-rugby/78974571/Identifying-five-rising-youngsters-of-Super-Rugby-who-are-on-road-to-All-Blacks

    are certainties IMO.

Stargazer. Wasn't Pulu injured too? If not where's he been?

Yes, he's injured (broke his arm in Sydney) but the articles on the NZRU website are unclear for how long. He may be one of those players that might feature in the last rounds.

Watching this plate final, lovely to hear the commentator talk about NZ born Tuatagaloa having gone 'back' to the mother country Samoa after previously representing NZ.

I find it hard to take the game seriously when Keith Quinn is commentating.

Stanaway has a brain implosion and gifts Samoa the winning try.

I really can't see a place for Messam if he continues this form, he's well off the pace.

Williams I think is worth sticking with but isn't showing anything special, he really needs to get it out of his head that his only weapon is trying to run across and get an inside shoulder for an offload, it's too predictable. He's very good at the breakdown and tackle though.

Not sure who said Kaka does loads of stupid stuff but that's far from what I've seen. He's a very steady player, not a super flashy playmaker but does a great job I reckon, Amasio lite.

NZ will drop a spot in the rankings to no. 3 (SA going one up), but NZ gained more points than Aussi (no. 4), so that gap has widened. That top 3 spot is probably more important than winning the series this year.

Someone had better wake Stargazer up as Kenya are all over Fiji and lead fifteen nil coming up to half time!

Edit: Make that twenty nil and still not halftime

I would prefer Kenya to win. Better for the points table for us all going into last 2 tournaments.
