So Julian Savea was already grimacing because of pain (groin injury?) in the warm-up. Why not withdraw from the game, or swap with the bench back (in this case, Alosio) or an an extra reserve in their travelling squad? Why risk it in a non-competition game?

Game not being shown on Stan by the looks of it
-
@kiwiwomble It's 3 - 0 to Otago, but Wellington dominating possession and territory.
-
Once again Umaga-Jensen makes metres setting up that try. The kid is in some form.

Everything that’s totally wrong about some of the laws in rugby right there , absolutely nothing gets done about teams taking their sweet arse time to set a line out , but a halfback who does not hurry to clear on the instructions of official from a ruck then pays the price by giving away the feed to the opposition.

@stargazer said in Otago v Wellington (non-competition game):
Great turnover from Withy, good run from Gilbert; if he'd passed to the man coming thourh on his left (Faddes?), it would have been a certain try.
Justice because Koroi should have been penalised for a blatant push in the back of the Wellington player (Judd?).
