Try bowling inside the wide lines and you won't get called, Nasser.
Smitโs economy rate in that last over wasnโt too bad, 18 runs off 10 balls ๐

163 feels like about a par score, but I'll take that after the top 4 had a nice ODI hit out in the sun.
yep i still feel that is an accurate assessment even though a tough pitch, hoping our spinners are miserly

Milne getting smashed
anyone getting nervous? -

Milne getting smashed
anyone getting nervous?Milne is a curious selection in the UAE for mine. We have one too many pace bowlers - and Jamieson can bat and field well if Milne is going to get hit around... Though I'd probably still have Siefert in for Milne.
A big game looms for Sodhi and Santner.
-
falcon by sodhi, not sure that will help, that looks like it hurt
-
great over by Southee when really needed
-
Boult also follows up with a misery over, should be hard to beat from here

Neesh the early saviour with the ball too. Where's @Chris-B when you need him?
It was a good pitch for someone of Neesh's pace - and Timmy when the ball got older. Harry and The Postman would have been deadly, as well! The quicker bowlers probably got too much bounce.
I'm slightly surprised Neesh didn't get more overs.
I like the variety of our five pronged bowling attack. They're all different - but, Tim and Neesh are a bit the same.
Doull said at the end of the game that our bowling is good enough to win - though a bit weakened by losing Ferg, but he's concerned about the batting and I'd agree with that.
But, it's a question of rolling the dice using Neesh and Co. to bowl OR trusting the top order and that if we need them Santner, Milne and Southee can come to the party with the bat.
Incidentally, I wonder why they list Milne to come in ahead of Southee? There's not much in AM's record to suggest he's more damaging with the bat.
