Spain aren't that good.

Didn't watch the game, but as expected, it was a clear win for the AB7s. They beat Spain 36 - 7.
Watched the BF7s play Fijiana. Great match-up against a good team, but the BF7s were too good. They won 24 - 14.

3:56am: BF7s v AustraliaThe Aussie women looking very strong against Ireland in the semis. It will be a tough game for the BFs.

Didn't Spain beat us last time? But 100 points against us is a ridiculous suggestion.

So the AB7s lost only one game (to Australia) and won 5. True, that loss made them end up in a part of the competition with weaker opponents and they didn't have to play the likes of Fiji, but still. One loss isn't as bad as a 9th place suggests.
Great that the BF7s beat the Aussies in the Final. I hope I can find out when and where to watch a replay.
The BF7s only played two of this year's 6 tournaments and still finished 5th in the final Series standings with one silver and one bronze. That's a fantastic result. I wonder why they didn't organise another women's tournament, like they've done for the men, who play 9 tournaments, this year?

Just watched that BF7s gold medal win. Awesome game. So patient when needed. Brazier and Hirini were fantastic.
Still, that young Aussie player (I forgot her name) catching Blyde, who isn't exactly slow ... The Aussies have a good young talent in her.

@Bovidae Hotham's decision-making has improved. Pouri-Lane has thus far been in the shadow of Nathan-Wong, so maybe not getting enough opportunties. Both still very young, so they have time.
I've lost track a bit of all newbies. I'm hoping for them to find a real speedster soon. The future replacement of Blyde, who is 26 and Woodman, who is 30. I'm thinking of the next Olympics and speed like than young Aussie ...
