Why wasn't Woodman starting instead of Saili? Hotham and Te Tamaki added something off the bench.

Standard Sevens train of thought these days. You keep a little firepower on the bench for injection at the right moment.
Saili was a bit hot and cold in her games but I could see why they wanted her there at the start with the option to yank her off.
Woodman is also more effective once the initial feeling out period has passed. Blyde attracts more defenders and tires the opposing forwards

    Didn't watch the game, but the BF7s beat Scotland 45 - 0.

Really dumb play from the AB7s in that first half.
Is Leroy Carter the new Kurt Baker. He's a bit of a d*ck. He's definitely the least impressive player of all the newbies.

    0 - 0 at half time.

Much better 2nd half with great tactics, pinning the Scots in their own 22 and putting so much pressure on them that they make mistakes.

    FT: NZ 19 - 0 Scotland

BF Sevens v Canada could be good if that young speedster Canada have gets in a foot race with Blyde.

    BF7s beat Spain 29 - 0.
    AB7s beat USA 19 - 17.

    7:52pm: BF7s v Canada
    11:06pm: AB7s v Australia

The BF7s are already through to the Cup QFs, regardless of the result v Canada.

The Australian men earlier lost to the USA (19 - 24) and beat Scotland 28 - 7.
Because both the Aussies and USA are on equal points with one loss and one win, the AB7s better win their last pool game, because I don't know what the tie breaker is if all three teams finish on equal points in their pool. NZ & Oz are best placed in terms of points differential.

Blyde is a superstar. What an athlete!

Carter looked motivated to make up for his clumsiness in game 1 with a huge work rate against USA. Just as well. Amazing try for Rokolisoa but little else to enthuse on. Where are you Tim Mikkelsen?

Any chance of a Blyde v Carrington arm wrestle ?

Blyde not only has speed she is built!

That may be so. But it's hardly a fair fight. Lisa has the big guns!

A few mistakes in this game, but the BF7s haven't had much possession. Just tackle, tackle, tackle.

BF7s lead 5 - 0 at half time. Blyde scored a try in the 4th minute.

That Canadian player, Krissy Scurfield, is seriously quick. Quicker than Blyde! Still, Hothma gets the try.

    12 - 0 BF7s
