Dreadful from the Stormers - no idea of how to either attack or how to force the penalty.
Quite the contrast once the turnover happened. Quick and accurate play to force mistakes. Bingo.
What a win! The coaches were bloody happy.

What a show of tenacity from the Sunwolves...brilliant..!,who gives a crap how inept the Stormers were..!

Wow, didn’t know Parker had that sort of range. Awesome finish.
Why is it that day rugby always seem to produce great encounters....

It seems to me that the gap is narrowing between the NZ sides and the rest. Two NZ have lost against foreign opposition this week : the Highlanders (heavily) and the Chiefs. The latter were seriously weakened and their loss was predictable. But the Crusaders (last week) and the Hurricanes (on Friday) struggled against their Australian opponents. What is the most worrying is the quality of their respective displays : lots of mistakes, lack of clinical finish. Maybe there will be only three NZ sides for the quarter finals ?

Looks Like Ashwin threw his toys out the cot:
In sensational scenes, Willemse walked off set following an apparent disagreement with co-workers Mallett and Botha.
The incident happened following the Lions' 42-24 win over the Brumbies at Ellis Park in Johannesburg.
While it remains unclear at this stage what led to Willemse's obvious unhappiness, the former Lions and Springbok wing said: “I’ve been in the game for a long time like most of us here. As a player, I’ve been called a quota for a long time and I’ve worked very hard to earn the respect I have now. I’m not going to sit here and be patronised by these two individuals (Mallett and Botha) who played their rugby during the apartheid era, a segregated era.”
Willemse went on to say he "can't work with people who undermine other people" and that he was "glad it happened on live TV so that people can see".
SuperSport host Motshidisi Mohono called the incident "unfortunate" as Willemse put down his papers and walked off camera.
In a matter of minutes the video clip went viral on social media.
SuperSport posted a tweet following the incident confirming they are "aware of the on-air incident" and are "looking into the matter".
Later on Saturday evening, SuperSport issued a second tweet stating that they view the incident "in a serious light" and will "conduct a full investigation and interview all relevant individuals".

@pn what comments sparked it?
Apparently in the post game analysis of the previous game, Wilemse was upset about not been given a chance to speak, so he complained to the producer. Nic offered to let him take the lead in providing post match analysis for the Lions Brumbies game, but instead of doing that, he started the above rant.
Here is a clip which shows the lead up to the incident:
There has been tension between Mallet and Wilemse before, primarily over transformation issues (ie Stick assistant coach selection etc) So this has been building up.

The Jaguares' winning streak continues. They just smashed the Bulls 54 - 24.
If the Sanzaar website is correct, the top 8 is right now:
Crusaders (46), Lions (36), Waratahs (31), Hurricanes (45), Chiefs (32), Highlanders (32), Jaguares (29) and Sharks (28).The Rebels dropped out of the wild card spots with 25 points.

So the Jaguares have won 5 on the bounce; Sunwolves 2 and an Aussie team beat a NZ team...is this competition waking up again?*
*yes the conference and finals system still sucks balls.
