Haha if you're going to get them to look mean then probably best not to use Ben from Accounts. Dixon would probably be a better fit.

@Tim At least Ardie looks suitably tall.
He's standing on a box.
And is 3m in front too.

he's tall as, just look at the line on the wall, he's massif bro!
Very busy jersies, blues probably least offensive with the least contrast in colours...wont be buying any though

that photo is so fucking stupid. What marketing genius saw that and said "yes! that's the exact look we are going for"
Like when you are taking a photo of a fish you caught, and you hold it out in front of you to make it look bigger, they've certainly strategically places Ardie (and teased his hair) for maximum height game #disguisethemidget
I am sure the development players will be stoked to run around in those shitty jerseys. Won't the crusaders one clash?

Sumo has mentioned Kings most likely team to get cut from Super Rugby but that the Cheetahs might also be in danger. Interesting.
The Cheetahs that cleaned up the Currie Cup and took last year's finalist to the wire in round one? How is it a competition? The Kings suck.

They need to do something. I only watch games involving at least 1 NZ side these days. At one stage Super Rugby was clearly the world's best club rugby comp. Now, there are a mixture of excellent teams and some absolute dross. I just hope SA realise it's in their interests to be pragmatic - less is sometimes more.

Same for me, and sometimes I'm not that bothered missing games from Aust or SA involving NZ teams either due to time differences.

@Bovidae dunno who it was I was listening too on RS this morning about 10.45am but he was an Aussie and he was saying the 5.30 NZT kick off in NZ (obviously with NZ teams) got higher ratings than the 7.35 in Aus kick off time.
-
@taniwharugby might have a bit to do with all the Kiwis living in Aussie? I meet very few Aussies who bother to watch Super rugby.
-
@Crazy-Horse Ironically, I know more Aussies in HK that watch super rugby than watch NRL / AFL combined.
